I welded up a small cage to harness in a battery and power inverter with a shop fan to propel a unicorn floaty around the lake. Cheap amazon pool floaty. It’s what I do.
My homemade boat build was an airboat build. I wanted an airboat after watching Archer it really came to life. It’s a small boat build, but it worked and I was able to make it pretty far around the lake. Might use it as a fishing kayak later. Hopefully not getting a hook in it or a fish spike. Might not be having anything but a boating fail at that point. Had, fun, have an airboat now, better off in life. True story.
